Baby Shower

last week I was invited to a Baby Shower for my Daughter's best friend. As the parents-to-be have decided they don't want to know the sex of the baby I avoided pink and blue and settled on Stampin' Up!'s Elegant Eggplant as it was the nearest match to the colur of their buggy.

For this card the background was stamped with baby themed stamps from Hobbycraft. The umbrellas were also from a Hobbycraft stamp. The letters are from a Tattered Lace alphabet die. The tear drop rhinestones are also from Hobbycraft.

The sentiment is also a Tattered Lace die.
Here is the matching envelope.

This card uses the umbrella stamp as a background. The large umbrella is a Tattered Lace die. The baby grow, bootees and ducks are stamped using the Stampin' Up! Something for Baby stamp set and cut with the matching baby's First die set. The letters were cut using the Litte Letters die set.
This is the matching gift bag made with two sheets of Lullaby DSP. The bows were punched using the new Bow Builder punch.

I also made a banner using the Build a Banner Simple Created kit and Refill Kit. The pattens were spritzed using Elegant Eggplant ink refill and the letters were sponged using Rich Razzleberry ink.  In addition to the pattern stencils in the kit I also used the Hearts and Stars stencils. The flowers were made using the We R Memory Keepers Flower punch board.
