Here are two cards decorated with silhouettes cut using the Cricut Explore. The images were saved from Google Images and imported into the Cricut Design space and cut from Stampin Up! Basic Grey cardstock. The card bases are Real Red, the stars were punched from Silver and Red Glimmer Paper using the Merry Mini's Star Punch. The sentiment is from Perfectly Penned and embossed in Iridescent Ice.

Cricut Explore and Tattered Lace
I've just bought a Cricut Explore and it lived up to expectations. I made my first project within minutes of getting it out of the box. I'm still getting the hang of it but here are a couple of early projects.
This one is using the writing function as well as the cutting function.
The cardstock is Stampin' Up! Early Expresso the pen is the Cricut silver one that comes with the machine. I've put retired DSP behind the cut out cat.
This is the cut out cat:-
My daughter asked me to create a birthday card for a fellow dance teacher. The base is Blushing Bride, the background was written by the Cricut on Very Vanilla. The Ballet shoes were cut from the Tattered Lace Ballet Shoes die.
