Another Ballet Card

My daughter asked me to do another card for one of her young pupils.

The dancer was cut using the Cricut Explore and two different pieces of Stampin' Up! DSP. It was a bit tricky gluing the top layer!

The cardstock is Pistachio Pudding stamped in matching ink using the Petite Petals and Papillon Potourri stamp sets. The mat is silver foil and the sentiment is from the Sassy Salutations stamp set embossed in pewter.

Gift Bags and Tattered Lace

It was my daughter's birthday recently and as she is a Goth, I made a predominantly black card for her along with a matching envelope.

The cardstock is Basic Black, The banners in Modern Medley DSP and Very Vanilla cardstock, have been cut with the Banners framelits. The sentiment is from Sassy Salutations and is stamped in Rich Razzleberry.

I also made a matching gift bag using Modern Medley DSP and Basic Black cardstock. The Scalloped Tag Topper punch. The decorations were cut using Tattered Lace dies from Core'dinations cardstock in Cherry Cobbler.

I made another one in Gingham Garden DSP with Pear Pizzazz cardstock. The Ballet shoes were cut using a Tattered Lace die in some old DSP. The label is from the Chalk Talk stamp set, stamped in Night of Navy and cut with the coordinating Chalk Talk die.

Herringbone and Bargello Cards

Here is a card using the herringbone technique.

The base cardstock is Crushed Curry, the strips of DSP are from Afternoon Picnic. The sentiment is from Sassy Salutations stamped in Crushed Curry on Naturals White cardstock and cut using the Banners framelits. The embellishments are Summer Starfruit dahlias.

Here is card using the bargello technique.

Again the base cardstock is Crushed Curry and the strips of DSP are from Afternoon Picnic. The sentiment is from Perfectly Penned stamped in Crushed Curry on Naturals White cardstock and cut using the Banners framelits. The embellishments are large rhinestones.
