Embossed Christmas Tree

I came across these three trees I'd embossed with the Darice Christmas Tree folder last year. They were crying out to be made into cards so I mounted them and added a sentiment using a Tattered Lace die.

This one is covered in Stampin' Up! Dazzling Diamonds.

This one is embossed Coredinations card that has been sanded.

This one has been accented with Stampin' Up! Dazzling Details in Cherr Cobbler, Gold Glitz and Silver Sparkle.

Lots of Glitter for Christmas

Today I got out the Heat and Stick Powder, Dazzling Diamonds glitter and the heat gun. I found a site on ebay that sells picture paper napkins for crafting.
There are various videos on the net explaining the technique in detail. To summerise, you peel off the layers of the napkin until there is only one. You stick that onto backing card, stamp versamark ink all over it, cover with heat and stick powder and heat until liquid, cover with dazzling diamonds and heat again. Mount onto a cardbase and add a sentiment.

And the finished card using Cherry Cobbler cardstock, the sentiment if from the hostess set Good Greetings 2014 and stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink on Very Vanilla cardstock, mounted using dimensionals.
